ALMA was founded in 2007 to provide a platform to stay connected and give back to this legendary institution that has shaped us into the successful individuals we are today. As we remember the generosity and vision of our Founder to plan these institutions, we, at ALMA, would like to facilitate carrying that vision forward. The ALMA Benevolent Fund is an exigency Fund created to take care of and support the financial needs of former and present teachers and the school sub-staff. It was formulated with the objective of providing for emergency medical needs for the very teachers who have helped shape our future. The Benevolent Fund also helps further the organisation's CSR and social objective. Since its inception, several teachers and staff - both past and present, have been supported.The ALMA Community is fairly new but has grown in strength and recognition. One of the reasons for our success has been our members as well as the support and cooperation of the Principals and administration of the La Martiniere schools and the Board of Governors at every stage. Various Past Vs Present events, social get togethers and Inter-alumni activities all around the year help past students from across various batches and different fields connect with each other.

ALMA now has over 1250 members and in the last few months we have conducted the first felicitation for academic high achievers from school and even established a connect with the Lucknow schools. ALMA intends to achieve inclusive growth within the Alma community and to increase connect within the current pupils through jointly conducted projects. The committee also intends to expand the outreach of our community through various social initiatives.
